I never planned to start a jewelry business. But God has a way of turning our creativity into a calling and testimony doesn’t He?

Creations by Seay was launched in November 2019. During a season when so many of us were searching for meaning, comfort, and connection.

My business didn't start off as Faith Based. The desire to create was born out of me having a love for bracelets (my Granny Esther Ross gave me my first bangle bracelet) and I decided to learn how to create bracelets to fit my wrist. I went to Michaels grabbed some materials and created my first bracelet. That was in August of 2019. That's how Creations by Seay was birthed!

What started as a creative outlet for myself quickly became something more. In the beginning I simply created for myself and family (my husband is my biggest supporter) and a few friends. After launching my website, I started naming every Creation after encouraging quotes because I've always had a love for encouraging people and making people smile.

After a year or two, I started naming my jewelry after encouraging quotes, affirmations, and scriptures but my business was still not Faith Based. It wasn't until 2024 when the Lord said that my business was Faith Based. When the Holy Spirit tugged on my heart about this, I was obedient and implemented the changes to follow what the Lord said. I updated my website, shared on Instagram of the change and never looked back.

That’s when I knew: this wasn’t just jewelry. This is my ministry!

Why I Create

My mission is simple: to encourage people by sharing the love of Jesus through what I create.

Every Creation is named after a Bible scripture or encouraging quote. Not a random phrase pulled from Pinterest or Google, but intentional, meaningful words from God’s Word that I pray over as I create.

When you wear a piece from Creations by Seay, you’re not just wearing jewelry. You’re wearing a reminder. A conversation starter. A declaration of faith.

I believe that we all need tangible reminders of God’s truth and love.

Every piece is made by hand—by me—in my studio. There’s no factory, no mass production, no overseas manufacturing. Just my hands, quality materials, and a whole lot of prayer.

You’ll notice that many of my pieces feature beautiful gemstones, freshwater pearls, wood stainless steel, and African materials.

I want to be clear as it relates to my beliefs and gemstones.

I create with these materials because they are beautiful creations from God, not because I believe they hold any power. My faith is in Jesus Christ alone. He is our healer, our provider, and our strength. The gemstones are simply a reflection of what God created and the beauty He placed in this world for us to enjoy.

When you wear a Creations by Seay piece, the power isn’t in the jewelry it’s in the scripture, and Jesus the One the scripture points to.
