If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’re in the middle of something hard. Maybe you’ve been in it for a while. Maybe it just started. Maybe you’re not even sure what’s wrong—you just know you’re tired.
I want you to know: this season will not define you. This chapter is not the end of your story. And the God who brought you through every hard thing before is not going to stop now.
Here are five scriptures to hold onto when you need strength to keep going.
“He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.” Notice who this verse is for: the faint. The ones with no might left. That’s not a disqualification—it’s the exact qualification for receiving God’s strength. He doesn’t give power to the powerful. He gives it to the empty.
“God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.” Morning is coming, sis. Hold on. The help you need is already on its way, and it arrives with the dawn.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Your weakness isn’t a failure. It’s the very place where God’s power shows up most brilliantly. Stop trying to be strong enough on your own. Let Him be strong for you.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.” Not your strength. His strength. His might. When you’ve got nothing left, you can borrow from an unlimited supply.
“For nothing will be impossible with God.” Whatever you’re facing that feels impossible—the diagnosis, the broken relationship, the financial mountain, the door that won’t open—nothing is bigger than your God. Not one thing.
In difficult seasons, it’s not enough to know these verses exist. You need to carry them. Wear them. Let them be the first thing you see when you wake up and the last thing you touch before bed.
That’s why wearable scripture matters most in the hardest seasons. It’s not about fashion—it’s about survival. It’s about reaching down in a moment of despair and feeling the beads on your wrist and remembering: God is in the midst of me. I shall not be moved.
You’re going to make it through this. Not because you’re strong enough. Because He is.
